Family Constellation often opens a doorway into another dimension of understanding, knowledge or experience. The principle is that the client is always the expert as it is he or she that carries all the hidden dynamics, so the facilitator doesn't have much scope for direction and thus may find themselves in territory that was hitherto unforeseen. This is where the supervision comes in very usefully.
